An architectural collaboration with Design Office, the proposed alterations and additions to an existing 1893 Victorian semi-detached house involves the demolition of unsympathetic addtions from the 1990s. Reestablishing the significance of the original brick dwelling, a new contemporary pavilion is proposed - linked to the original building by a glazed conservatory that becomes the new entry. Built on a sandstone outcrop on the edge of Cooper Park, the new house will take advantage of elevated views over treetops and city glimpses.
Cooper Park House has recieved planning approval and is currently in detail documentation stage.
