2010 - 2012
CO-AP was commissioned to do an interior fit-out of a new three-storey beachfront hospitality development at Merewether Beach in Newcastle. We designed the interiors for all three levels, incorporating a restaurant and bar, event spaces and a promenade kiosk and cafe. Design innovations for the project include bespoke perforated rolled-aluminium ceiling panels, and walls lined with 88,000 wine bottle corks which are a beautiful design feature as well as helping to achieve acoustic requirements for the spaces.
